By placing an order with us, you (the Customer) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the following terms:
1. Strict No-Refund & No-Exchange Policy
Due to the limited-stock nature of our curated collections and the specialized production of our items, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, credits, or exchanges for "change of mind," incorrect selection, or if the item does not fit as you imagined.
2. Custom & Personalized Orders
- Irrevocable Sales: In accordance with Section 20(3)(b) of the CPA, goods that are made-to-order, personalized, or custom-sized are strictly non-refundable.
- Size Responsibility: It is the Customer's sole responsibility to provide accurate measurements. We will not be held liable for items that do not fit due to incorrect sizing information provided at the time of order.
- Color & Artistic Variance: Because our items are often handcrafted or custom-finished, slight variations in color, texture, and shade from the digital display images are expected and do not constitute a defect.
3. Health, Hygiene & Safety
To protect the health and safety of our customers, items that are wearable (including but not limited to earrings, masks, headwear, and cosplay accessories) or cosmetic (lip glosses, potions) cannot be returned once they have left our premises. This ensures that every item we sell is in a sterile, unused condition.
4. Anti-Fraud & "Wardrobing" Protection
To prevent the misuse of our products for one-time events (e.g., photo shoots, parties, or conventions):
- Security Tags: Items may be shipped with visible, tamper-proof security tags. If these tags are cut, removed, or tampered with, the item is deemed "used" and will not be considered for any claim.
- Verification: We maintain high-resolution photographic records of every item and its unique markings before dispatch. We will not accept any claims for items that do not perfectly match our internal dispatch records (preventing "swapping" with inferior products from other shops).
5. Shipping & Liability
- Risk of Loss: Our liability ends once the package is handed over to the third-party courier service. We are not liable for any loss, theft, or damage occurring during transit. We highly recommend customers opt for shipping insurance for high-value items.
- Usage: Angel Nieuwoudt Gift Shop is not liable for any injury, damage, or legal issues resulting from the use or misuse of our fantasy props and magical items.
6. Defective Goods & Inspection
Any claim regarding a legal defect must be made within 24 hours of delivery. The item must be returned at customers cost in its original, untampered packaging with all tags attached for a mandatory forensic inspection. We reserve the right to repair or replace the item at our discretion before a refund is considered.
